In an effort to be living a greener life, we have completely made the switch from plastic shopping bags to reusable bags. It’s cost effective, saves the environment, and to be honest, a lot more stylish! Just take a look at these pretty bags! The top three are from Envirosax, and comes in a large assortment of colors and patterns. The bottom photos are from Baggubag (Go here if you live in Norway), where you can choose your own color combos.

If you prefer something handmade, do a search on Etsy, and you’ll come up with a lot of diiferent bags and totes. One of my favorites are made from recycled sails, and are available in Reiter8s shop.

Another alternative is of course to make your own. That way you can have your bag just the way you like it. There are good instructions to be found on the net, but a good place to start would be U-handbags free instructions.

Whatever you choose, get rid of those plastic bags, and buy bio-degradable garbage disposal bags for your trash. (An added bonus is that you won’t discover unwanted holes in your grabage bags!)
