Look what came in the mail for me a couple of days ago? A Diana+ camera! I was tempted to buy one after seeing Paper Pony’s gorgeous photos and reading more about the camera over at Lomography. The Diana is an all plastic camera that was first manufactured in Hong Kong in the 60ies, and Diana+ is a rebuild of the old Diana, made by Lomography in 2007.  It is a medium format camera that produces soft and dreamy images with saturated colors, quite the opposite of todays digital slrs, so it will be exciting to try something different than the cameras I normally use (Nikon D80 and Canon EOS 350/Digital Rebel).   I’m taking the afternoon off to learn how to use it. :)
